Tirig

A landscape that connects us with our origins

Tírig is located northeast of Alt Maestrat. It is a small town oriented to agriculture and livestock, its main ways of life. In Tírig we will discover a landscape where dry stone draws paths, margins and memory.

But it is also a window to the most distant past, with a history of millennia that has left its mark in the form of rock art in the shelters of the Barranc de la Valltorta, declared a World Heritage Site. Among its streets of low houses we can walk on a journey to our origins.
